Nokia 103: an ultra low cost mobile

This phone for countries developing offers a rudimentary configuration based on a 1.3 inch monochrome screen. Its selling price is 16 euros.

Nokia yesterday presented one of the cheapest mobile market for countries in the developing world. This is the 103, a mobile running on Series 30 with a configuration that is no longer used to seeing: 1.3 inch monochrome screen, dual band GSM 900/1800 and chubby size (107.2 mm x 45.1mm x 15.3mm).

The unit is treated to resist dust and scratches, and its battery ensures a self-announced 11 hours talk time and 27 days standby.

Only extras, a flashlight, some games preinstalled and integrated FM radio. Price of the Nokia 103, only 16 euros. Mobile is already available in Nigeria and should arrive in other markets later in the quarter.
